This assignment was from my drawing class. I had to use charcoal to draw a self portrait mixing myself with a fictional character. I picked Ava from Ex Machina as my fictional character because I thought that it would be interesting and challenging to do the metallic effects, and overall, I believe that I executed this well. I definitely acquired skills in rendering and portraiture from working on this piece.
